Le gouvernement nigérian et la Commission du Bassin du Lac Tchad (CBLT), avec le soutien de l’Organisation des Nations Unies pour l’éducation, la science et la culture (Unesco), organisent une conférence internationale sur le Lac Tchad, visant à susciter une prise de conscience mondiale sur les défis socio-économiques et environnementaux découlant du rétrécissement du Lac Tchad.
