Non-governmental organisation, Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative, on Thursday, donated recycling bins to three schools in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital in North-central Nigeria

In furtherance of its commitment to a cleaner and safer environment, a non-governmental organisation, Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative, on Thursday, donated recycling bins to three schools in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital in North-central Nigeria.

The Executive Director of the Organisation, Mrs Nafisat Bakare, said the bins were donated to the schools to ensure proper disposal of used items that can be recycled and also fetch the schools money.

“The idea is to get students and staff of the schools to dispose of used items in the bins, particularly plastics and cans that can be recycled. The school will sell the items to recycling companies and can use the proceeds to get some materials that can be used by the students.
