Cette préoccupation, se traduit le plus souvent, par l’organisation, dans les pays où se trouvent ses représentations, des activités pour informer et sensibiliser sur  toutes les questions ayant trait à la coopération.

Figure, dans ce registre, les questions relatives, à la lutte contre les effets des changements climatiques. C’est dans ce cadre, qu’il faut inscrire, ce qui est dénommée « la semaine de la diplomatie climatique ».

Comme, dans toutes les autres délégations de l’Union Européenne, celle du Bénin, a eu, elle aussi, à mener des activités pour marquer la semaine. Son Excellence Oliver NETTE, est Ambassadeur et Chef de Délégation de l’Union Européenne au Bénin. Aux médias béninois, il fait le point des activités menées dans au cours de cette semaine.

Il a été interrogé par  Lidville Tossou de Frissons Radio et Didier Hubert MADAFIME, Correspondant de ClimteReporters à Cotonou.
