Les populations de TIAGBA engagées à la gestion durable des déchets organiques

La 2e édition de la GREEN BEACH a tenu ses promesses les 16 et 17 Août 2019 à TIAGBA,village situé dans le département de Grand-lahou (100 km d’Abidjan).

Cette initiative du Club du Développement Durable de Cote d’Ivoire (CDD-CI),organisation membre de PACJA-COTE D’IVOIRE, visait selon son premier responsable, Durand Oboué, à attirer l’attention des populations de TIAGBA sur la nécessité de préserver la lagune.

«La lagune, un milieu à protéger».Tel est le thème de cette deuxième édition qui a eu à son menu plusieurs articulations.Entre autres,Projection de film,Opération coup de balai,Échanges avec la chefferie du village et Visite de l’île.

A en croire, l’ong CDD-CI, la population du village de TIAGBA, contrée balnéaire,rencontre des difficultés dans la gestion de ses déchets. L’option choisie par les habitants pour se debarasser des ordures, étant les méthodes d’incinération artisanale et d’enfouissement .

Aussi,OBOUE Durand et ses camarades ont-ils, dans la foulée, proposé à la chefferie, un tri à la base de leurs déchets avant de suggéré l’option compostage de tous les déchets organiques.
