«Il est temps de passer à l’action » déclare Kofi Annan dans le dernier rapport de l’Africa Progress Panel

Le rapport présente un programme ambitieux, mais essentiel pour accélérer les progrès en Afrique, que les dirigeants du continent et leurs partenaires étrangers devraient promouvoir tout au long de la prochaine décennie

D’ici 2050, plus d’une personne sur quatre sur notre planète sera africaine. Il faut agir maintenant, de manière décisive et courageuse, pour s’assurer que chacune d’elles ait une chance équitable de mener une vie saine, prospère et épanouissante, soutient le dernier rapport de l’Africa Progress Panel (APP) de Kofi Annan.

Ce rapport intitulé « Progresser vers la réalisation des Objectifs de Développement Durable en Afrique » s’inspire des idées développées au cours des dix années d’existence de l’APP (2007-2017). Il  décrit les principales opportunités et les défis auxquels l’Afrique sur la voie de la réalisation des objectifs de développement durable, dans le but de créer, à long terme, une prospérité durable et équitable pour tout le continent Africain.

Le rapport final de l’APP est avant tout un appel à l’action. Il présente un programme ambitieux, mais essentiel pour accélérer les progrès en Afrique, que les dirigeants du continent et leurs partenaires étrangers devraient promouvoir tout au long de la prochaine décennie.
