La neutralité: solution en matière de dégradation des terres

Près de 12 milliards d’hectares de terres sont dégradés à travers le monde. L’insécurité alimentaire et la pauvreté en sont les conséquences.

Pour améliorer le bien-être humain, il va falloir procéder à la restauration de ces terres. La question a été sérieusement débattue au cours de la 12ème Conférence des parties sur la désertification.  La rencontre qui s’est tenue cette année à Ankara en Turquie a retenu la neutralité en matière de dégradation des terres comme la solution clé à la perte de la productivité des sols.
