29 millions d’euros d’appui allemand au développement de la Mauritanie

Le ministre mauritanien des Affaires économiques et du Développement, Sid’Ahmed Ould Rais, et l’ambassadeur d’Allemagne à Nouakchott, Mme Carolla Mueller, ont signé mardi une convention de financement d’un montant global de 29 millions d’euros.

Ces projets concernent la surveillance de la pêche V et les programmes de biodiversité en Mauritanie, d’appui à l’enseignement technique et à la formation professionnelle, à la bonne gouvernance, à l’appui au secteur extractif, à la gestion des ressources naturelles ainsi qu’à la promotion des droits humains et au dialogue.

Prenant la parole à cette occasion, le ministre des affaires économiques et du développement s’est réjouit de l’excellence des relations de coopération entre les deux pays, soulignant que le présent accord va financer des projets arrêter au cours des travaux de la commission mixte de coopération Mauritano-allemande, tenue à Berlin.

Il a, par la suite ajouté, que ces projets, qui constituent une priorité pour notre pays, dans le cadre des stratégies intégrées exécutées sur instructions du Président de la République,

Son Excellence Monsieur Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, montrent l’intérêt qu’accorde l’Allemagne au développement de la Mauritanie.   Il a enfin exprimé ses remerciements à l’Allemagne pour son appui constant au développement économique et social de la Mauritanie.

L’ambassadrice de la république fédérale d’Allemagne a indiqué, pour sa part, que la Mauritanie et l’Allemagne sont depuis longtemps des partenaires fiables et leur coopération étroite est basée sur la confiance.   Elle a ajouté que l’accord portant sur la formation aidera notre pays dans son combat contre le chômage par la formation des jeunes qui auront des capacités leur permettant d’intégrer le marché du travail local. –
