Les parlementaires et la francophonie se mobilisent pour les droits des femmes

A quelques jours des dernières négociations à Bonn, avant celles de la COP 21, le ministère français des affaires étrangères et du développement international a organisé,  vendredi 16 octobre, une  conférence sur les femmes et les défis du changement climatique.

Lors de cette conférence les participants ont précisé que sur 150 pays ayant soumis leur contribution nationale pour la conférence de Paris, seuls 50 d’entre eux ont inscrit l’égalité femmes-hommes dans leur vision de développement. Cette conférence avait pour objectif de présenter l’ appel international des femmes pour la la lutte contre les dérèglements météorologiques.

Pour les signataires de cet appel, l’accord de Paris doit inclure l’égalité entre hommes et femmes,  la valorisation des actions des femmes dans la lutte contre les dérèglements météorologiques et leur implication dans les projets et financements. L’ Ancienne secrétaire d’Etat chargée de l’Ecologie et présidente de la délégation aux droits des femmes et à la parité entre hommes et femmes au Sénat , Chantal Jouanno et la Secrétaire Générale de la Francophonie, ancien gouverneure générale du Canada expliquent comment envisagent-elles de poursuivre la mobilisation.
