Le gouvernement malien, en collaboration avec certaines Ong et institutions de recherche comme le Centre mondial pour l’agroforesterie (Icraf), Catholic Relief Services et la fondation Aga Khan, ont procédé lundi à Mandela, la commune de Kaboila à quelque 20 km de la ville de Sikasso (Sud, 380 km de Bamako), au lancement d’un projet d’agroforesterie et à la pose de la première pierre du projet « Smat Scalling » qui vise à améliorer l’accès et l’utilisation de technologies facilement adaptées au climat,
