Health minister Felix Kabange Numbi of Democratic Republic of Congo has rejected reports of a Marburg disease epidemic in Zongo area of the country’s northwestern Equateur province, insisting that laboratory tests done in neighbouring Central African Republic on two Congolese patients from that province were negative.
