A total of 1,971 cases of teenage pregnancies were recorded in the past three school years in seven regions of Senegal, a phenomenon that has affected girls aged between 13 and 19 years, according to a study conducted by Group for the Study and Teaching of Population (GEEP), in collaboration with UNFPA and the Government of Senegal.
