Nigeria to experience hazy, cloudy weather condition as April ends

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted partly cloudy  weather condition in the central states of the country in the coming week starting from Monday. This is contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) in Abuja on Sunday.

It added that chances of localised thunderstorms were expected over the North-central region of the country particularly Abuja, Makurdi, Lokoja, Lafia and environs during afternoon and evening hours.

NiMet also predicted cloudy conditions with chances of localised rain over South-West coast during the morning hours and prospect of localised thunderstorms over the region during the afternoon and evening hours.

It also predicted that cloudy conditions with chances of localised thunderstorms were expected over the inland region, except for some places in the South-south region like Ogoja and Ikom.

NiMet further predicted that Northern states would experience hazy conditions during the forecast period.
